Hi Roosevelt Families! 

It is hard to believe that we only have two more weeks in this school year! We want to thank all our Roosevelt families for helping to make the Roosevelt community such a strong and inviting place! We have a few more events to wrap up the school year! 

On Tuesday, June 2nd, join us for the final PTA meeting of the year. We will vote on the elected PTA board for the 2026/27 school year, vote on the PTA budget, and discuss the calendar and other board positions. Childcare will be provided!

Thursday, June 4th, from 5–6:30 pm, we hope everyone will join us for the end-of-the-year picnic. Bring a blanket and enjoy a sandwich and a treat. This is always a relaxing and fun event to just get to relax and visit while kids play on the playground.

Field Day is Tuesday, June 9th. We always need a lot of volunteers to help, so please check out the coming Signup Genius if you can help that day!

I want to give a huge shoutout to the Roosevelt PTA Board this year! It has been an incredible year with so many incredible events and activities provided by the PTA. Thank you to Co-President Jessica Parks for all her work on the newsletter each month; to Co-Vice President Cassie Henifin for her input and her work on the Fall BINGO Night; to Co-Vice President and Events Chair Ashley Priest for organizing and putting on so many of our amazing events like the Fall Carnival, Bedtime and Books, the Spring Dance Party and more; to Secretary Emma Anderson for keeping us organized and compliant with all the PTA rules and regulations; to Treasurer David Sadowski for all his work keeping our finances and budget in order; to Yearbook Chair McKenna Adams for raising money for and creating an amazing yearbook for each of our students; to Communications Chair Missy Asplund for growing our social media presence and making sure our Roosevelt community was always in the loop about what was happening; to Staff Appreciation Chair Molly Bushen for doing an incredible job of making sure our Roosevelt staff were celebrated and honored all year; to our SPED Advocacy Chair Emma Dingus for creating a brand new committee dedicated to making sure that every student in our school is welcomed and made to feel included (watch for updates from the District in the fall highlighting and celebrating this amazing committee and their work!); to our Fundraising Chair Kimberly Power for organizing the amazing events that bring in the funds to support our school; to our Enrichment Chair Kimberly Syltebo for building from the ground up an afterschool enrichment program that offers so many awesome experiences and classes for our students. These are just some of the many things these amazing folks have contributed this year! And to everyone who helps on the committees, volunteers for our events, and shows up to our events, thank you! We couldn’t do this without you all! We hope you all have a great end to the school year and an amazing summer! See you in the Fall!
