This is Tracy's third year serving on the PTA Board, the first as Vice President. She is mom of a 2nd grader at Roosevelt, as well as a 6th grader. Tracy cares deeply about her kids' education and for the Roosevelt community.
Currently serving as PTA Treasurer, this is Kimberly’s third year on the PTA board. She is a Bellingham native, married to Todd (a former Roosevelt Bear himself), mother to Grace (5th grade), Jojo (2nd grade), and Rose (Promise K). Kimberly is passionate about relationships and building a strong community.

Karla is originally from Mexico and moved to Bellingham in January of 2024. Her daughter, Emily, is in Promise K. She is happy to be part of the Roosevelt PTA because she's passionate about leadership and about helping to make a difference in our community. Karla works as a Paraeducator for Multilingual Students in the Bellingham District. She believes that being a good role model for our kids is the best way for them to succeed.
Kim is deeply committed to providing our students with a fun and enriching after-school experience. She started volunteering with the PTA last year. She has a 1st Grader (Ollie) at Roosevelt and a preschooler (Lucy). Kim's husband Andy volunteered to coach Roosevelt's Bike Club last spring. They are hoping that Lucy learns to ride a bike this summer so they can go on family bike rides.
Missy has a 4th grader and a kindergartner at Roosevelt. She has really enjoyed getting more involved with the Roosevelt community & PTA over the last couple of years! Missy loves participating in community events, building community, and spending quality time with her two kiddos!

The Volunteer Coordinator is the chair of our in-school support committee. This person will seek out volunteer opportunities in the school (such as providing extra helping hands in the front office, library, lunchroom, and during recess), and help organize volunteers for our PTA events.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, please email president@roosevelt-pta.org for more info!
Do you love our After-school Enrichment program and want to get involved? The co-chairs of this committee will work together to plan our quarterly after-school enrichment sessions. This includes finding fun classes for our program, vetting and communicating with the class instructors, coordinating our volunteer chaperones, and putting together class rosters for each session. With two people heading up this committee, we will be able to lighten the workload and ensure our enrichment program stays at Roosevelt for years to come!
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, please email president@roosevelt-pta.org for more info! No experience needed. You'll be teaming up with our existing chair who can help you learn the ropes.
