Welcome Back, Roosevelt Bears! We hope you all had a wonderful break and were able to enjoy time to rest and reconnect. As we return to our regular routines, we’re excited about the opportunities ahead and thankful for the ongoing support and involvement of our school community.
Our next round of Enrichment Classes is just around the corner. A detailed flyer (including the enrichment calendar, scholarship information, and registration details) was sent home in backpacks this week.
And don’t forget to start brainstorming—our annual Roosevelt Bears T-shirt design contest kicks off in early February!
If you’re inspired by all that’s happening at our school, joining the PTA is a great way to stay involved. Our next general meeting is January 20, where you’ll hear committee updates and help select the Nominating Committee. Childcare will be provided.
The Nominating Committee, required by the Washington State PTA, consists of three members and helps recruit candidates for elected officer positions—president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.
We look forward to connecting with you in the weeks ahead. Your participation helps make our PTA and school community strong!
Enrichment Updates
Sign your child up for a free after-school class by volunteering as a chaperone! All of our Winter Session instructors are offering a free spot for your student if you or an adult family member volunteers. If you're interested, please email Kim at enrichment@roosevelt-pta.org.
