It is hard to believe that we are already a month into school! We have had a great start and are so excited for all that has already happened and all that is coming up! We want to thank everyone who came out for our Fall Bingo and Brew event at Stemma! We had an amazing time, gave away some really great prizes, and raised almost $3,000 for our enrichment scholarship fund. It was truly a great night!
We also want to thank everyone who made it to our first PTA meeting. We are thrilled to welcome Jessica Parks as Co-President, and Molly Bushen as our Staff Appreciation Chair! Thank you for your willingness to help our PTA board!
We are into our annual Bear-a-Thon season! Envelopes went home Thursday, September 25th, and our Bear-a-Thon will be held this Friday, October 3rd. The Bear-a-Thon is our main fundraiser, and we need your help to reach our goal of $25,000. These funds go to staff classroom funds, staff appreciation days, a free yearbook for each of our students, a free t-shirt for each student, family nights like Bedtime and Books, the Fall Fun Night, our Pizza and Dance party, and so much more. We need help from all our Roosevelt families to help us meet our goal. Help your student ask family and friends, or if you have a business or know of one that will match or donate funds, every little bit will help us reach our goal! Money needs to be turned into the office by October 20th.
You can also help support our Roosevelt Bears by coming on Friday and cheering on our students!
Enrichment Updates
Our Fall after-school enrichment classes begin on October 14th! If you have any feedback about your child’s class or the registration process, we would love to hear from you. You can also join our enrichment committee meeting on October 7th at 7 at Overflow Taps.
